I saw an anime a while back called windaria. now as some of you may recall i was asking around for some fantasy animes and i checked several titls out. but...yeah...newer anime reall dos not interest me that much...but then i stumbled on a site with the title of this anime from the 80ties. it is appearantly a rare anime but luckily fo me the whole movie is up on youtube ( with the exception of the first 10 minutes >_< so of course i watched it.

i must say that it has been a longtime since i really enjoyed an anime that was even able to touch me in the end. it is an older anime movie from 1986. it is also known under the title "once upon a time" the studio who made it is called Kanamae Productions but it seems it went bnkrupt not very long after this movie wich is one of the reasons why it is so hard to find this anime. i would love to be able tobuy tis one on dvd but it seems that the original japanese VHS version is even rare in japan and i don't feel like paying a large amount of money for a movie there was an american release in 1992 but there were cuts and censors and other bullshit that made this anime only recognizable by the artwork...as far as i know..this movie has never even been brought out on dvd...but if it did...please let me know.

this anime may be old but it hs a good and stron storyline (although sad..) all 4 main characters are interesting and i liked the artwork and the animation was very nice as well. ( better than most anime's nowadays in my opinion.....) so if yo like fantasy you should give this one a try ( if you can find it...)
